AOK Day
The newly renamed AOK DAY (Acts Of Kindness) is run by a group of students from Carisbrooke High School, supported by local youth workers, who want to do stuff to wish their school community a happy day and make school a bit better for them. Every Tuesday lunchtime we hand out free hot chocolate, fruit juice, scrape gum off desks, help put up displays and organise events such as football tournaments and Battle of the Bands where the winner plays at Band Nite.
We hope that, through doing this, we will help to make the school a happier place and increase the presence of the Christian community in the school. We love seeing people smile when they realise it's all free.
